Los Naranjos del Valle in Melegís, just over a kilometre from Casa Tagomago. A good option and not just in the summer. This terrace has wonderful views over the Valley. Ideal for families as it overlooks the restaurant’s children’s playground. Food is traditional with a modern twist. Service is excellent and friendly.
Bodega Hacienda Señorío de Nevada in Villamena about 15 minutes drive from Casa Tagomago. Visit the bodegas before enjoying a meal in the modern restaurant. For tempting al fresco eating the terrace, with views of Sierra Nevada, is a luxury on warm summer nights. Their wines are top quality so don’t forget to visit their shop.
Café Bar Venecia in Pinos del Valle, 10 minutes from Casa Tagomago. A typical village bar, the Venecia has a charming terrace, full of colourful plant pots and views over the village to the mountains beyond.
Nautical Centre Valle de Lecrín is a recent venture based on the shores of the Beznar Reservoir, ten minutes from Casa Tagomago. This terrace is quite different, offering a rustic, chill out style with a small bar and the occasional open air concert in the summer. All kinds of water sports are available for you to try.
Restaurante La Loma del Valle, a bar and grill in Cozvijar, near Durcal. A modern eatery with a large terrace in the Respsol petrol staion just off the A-44 Motorway. Good daily menu and grilled meats. Well worth a visit. 15 minutes from Casa Tagomago.
Alquería de los Lentos, a charming, small rural hotel in Nigüelas. Recently renovated and opened under new management. Enjoy the gardens, chill out corners and this attractive terrace. Interesting menu and occasional concerts and other activities. 15 minutes from Casa Tagomago.

Last but not least, the terraces at Casa Tagomago. Stay at home for some tempting al fresco eating. Two big terraces await you. The patio with its small pool, large table, BBQ and loungers. Ideal for al fresco meals and pure relaxation.
The roof terrace with its loungers, table and chairs is perfect for a sundowner…or sunbathing. Both have magnificent views over the Valley to Sierra Nevada beyond. Not feeling like cooking? Order a take away from the local restaurant and bask in the tranquility.
